With so many injuries what team are we gonna put out tomorrow night?
Doesn’t help having to play at Salford on Friday night either.
Think this is game Flynno could do without.
Anyone going?
I predict another heavy defeat and a couple more injuries

I would think we play our strongest team, Flynn is clinging on by his finger tips and it will be toxic in the away end with a heavy defeat. A spirited performance is a minimum requirement I would think especially with a reasonable away following.

Play kids and just presume it will be a heavy defeat. Hopefully the days of praying we pi know up 10k after 6 matches or something similar are long since gone

Play Saturdays squad ( minus Thomas) as three new players will be in by Saturday.

Would have been more had our form not been so shocking. I can see it being toxic in the away end if it's a heavy defeat.

As Robin85 states in the Refwatch thread, we have a 100% record under tonight’s referee.

Believe!

Exactly why I am not going. Not so much the likelihood of a bad result, that can happen at any game, but more the toxicity that will go with it.

We need a win tonight to put us in the draw for a top home tie in the next round. The money will help with signings.

Can see some infighting (hopefully not violent) is there's any of that nonsense from last Saturday considering the fanbase will be more concentrated in location.

I think we are past the infighting phase, the majority seem to have made their minds up.

On the bright side, apparently Backwell is back in contention…

I think the fanbase is split on who the biggest villain is: For some its Flynn, for others its Johnson, others the Board and specifically Bloxham (though the takeover will have largely neutered that angst).

I don't think anybody would be motivated to put up a fight in defence of any of them, mind, such is the malaise we are in.

Fully agree with this. Flynn seems to be the most targeted but I think that's because he's the front man to the whole house of cards.

Fans started to leave in the first half yesterday and it was not just block one.

That comes as no shock, but am sure that will all change when they come up with some innovative ideas on the shadow board

I personally find it difficult to lay a majority of the blame on MF. As he said and as was quite obvious during the pre season, a lot, if not all our signings are here because they are all we can afford and nobody else was offering them even the meagre contract we were (a direct result on the 'club' presuming we would sell a couple and use that to fund purchases, rather than find that money up front and not be so exposed).

Then we have ones here, who we are happy to let go, but low and behold, they can't get the same contract anywhere else, so naturally stay here, even though they are not good enough.

Followed closely by those with short memories of how much fun it was working for Deliveroo and now show the moral fibre of a 2 year old.

Last but not least, the inability to hold on to players who got us to a pretty decent (all be it average), league position last season.

So you put them all out on a football pitch, and bemoan that they looked disorganised, badly trained, not tactically adept etc. My argument would be, if any other manager thought they could be moulded, trained and taught to perform as a cohesive, effective unit. Then none of the above would apply.

If we have / had, no money, overheads should have been cut to aid the survival of a decent playing staff. Am sure there are views on where the axe should have been dropped, but that's all too late now
