Classic Stereophonics played at Stevenage!

I like these interviews when Gary explains past events - Pell getting a migraine last week, for example, explains why he went off at HT.

Barts still part of the plan, just a case of managing the squad's fitness, and niggles, etc.

He does deserve better though. His treatment has been a disgrace.

Stevenage 1-0 Godden penalty after Manny pulls him down.

It's total b0llocks! We play better when Barthram is in the team. There was no fitness issue last season when he was bombing down the right wing all game.

Need less fitness in the Conference - just look how Wright, Stoz, Downes etc were stronger than the opponents in the last 10-15 mins in the Conference, yet in L2 are gassing after 30 mins.

If you have any actual evidence to suggest GJ is lying in his interviews, please share it.

Lose again tonight and I think fans might start asking more questions about GJ.

Indeed, takes a brave and strong chairman to ignore short-term howls from knee-jerking fans and stick with a manager for the long-term benefit.

Last thing we need now is for PB to panic.

Panic ?? we have had to endure this farce since August when GJ failed to assemble a squad fit to compete in this league
and to me knee jerk would suggest a reaction after ONE bad result

Stevenage are challenging for play-offs, we are bottom five. Rather than being good by them and bad by us 2-0 is a standard result a neutral observer would expect from such a match.

I'd hardly call zero shots something I'd expect from a match... utterly poor.

Sounds like we played well for the first 15 minutes and the last ten but poor apart from that. That Stevenage have some decent players with a lot of experience in higher leagues, not sure how they can afford that on their crowds though?

2 points above the drop zone now. Orient and Notts getting equalisers whereas we lose at 10 men Stevenage

Oh my god Notts County come back from 2-0 down to snatch a late point and Orient also get a late equaliser. Not a good night for us have to beat Yeovil on Saturday.

Surely we can beat Yeovil at home? I honestly don't believe we are that far away now, just need to stick to a settled team ideally dropping Cranston for Davis and playing Barts on the RB slot.

Cranston's suspended anyway.

We need to get back to 3-5-2, it's been our most successful formation under GJ and means we actually have the width from the wing backs.

I'm not so sure robin. Tonight was the night I lost any optimism.
All he teams around us seem to be picking up points and form yet we seem to be slipping. No matter what GJ does it has little effect. He's always tinkering and changing things, I honestly think the players don't know if they're coming or going.

I know there's a lot of debate over Barts but I honestly think he's better that Cranston in every department but JC seems to be one of the first names on the teamsheet!

Last season when things went well there was a collectiveness but with us struggling it seems to be very much an us and them between GJ and the squad. He doesn't seem to hold his hands up and say he's got it wrong but this is very much his group of players.
I just hope we can hang on because going back down after 1 season in the League could signal the loss of lots of STs

I can't even be bothered to comment. Some think we are in danger, most think we are all but home and hosed. time will tell
