Re: scope to grow
apparently there are now 120000 people living in cheltenham(whatever that is) so just over 3000 turn up on a Saturday 2.5% of the population room for growth It's actually around 138,000 once you include Bishops Cleeve which is oddly counted under Tewkesbury. It's scandalous really that our crowds a...

Re: Robins Report Podcast
Half-way through and I think the tone is bang on. If MG thinks we need evolution not revolution then he hasn’t done his homework - perhaps too much time speaking to the board and his accountant, rather than the fans. He needs to step up to the plate in the next few weeks and make changes to the boa...

Re: trust open letter to Mike Garlick and board
Just a thought, but I wonder if the board turned down the Trust’s offer last summer of a comprehensive review because they didn’t want such a review to reveal how abysmal the club’s communications are, as well as revealing inadequacies in other areas. Where most people saw this as an opportunity fo...

Re: Michael Flynn after Crawley defeat
Before any more doubt spreads about the new owner I did read on the FB forum that Mr Garlick had an operation so if he is recuperating maybe that is why he has not made any comments recently. This may not be true but I think we should accept that he and Mrs Garlick will act and speak when they feel...

Re: Crawley Town v Cheltenham Town
As much as I would love MF to turn this round realising he has been dealt a really tough hand in his time here, performances on the pitch are making it so hard to back him. We are so hard to watch, I turned to the cricket at half time and couldn't be arsed to turn back for the second half even thoug...

Re: Crawley Town v Cheltenham Town
It seems to me we need to get Hutchinson on the ball so much more. When he gets it he's looking up and passing to a Cheltenham player or looking to create something. No one else does this so he only gets a couple of touches a half. So frustrating.

Re: 20 out of contract
I would guess it will depend on how the season goes. If we are in a relegation battle then few will be willing to sign up for another season. If we are looking mid-table, I would expect several current players to be offered extensions. I think the bigger question is of the 20 out of contract next s...

More grief, not by our “fans” this time but of a player now with us. https://www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/club-statement-2 A mate of mine is a friend of the family and he has seen the abuse and it was horrible, not just to Isaac but his girlfriend too. Re: Paul Baker
Finding rough diamonds to sell on isn't his only remit though surely?! He has to build a competitive, balanced squad which we are miles away from. In three transfer windows he has built a squad that, other than Joe Day and maybe a couple of the youngsters, has no one under contract beyond the end of...

Re: Jon Palmer on X
It has been thrown around sporadically (and rejected) over the years that the CTFC board was a closed shop, 'jobs for the boys' type set up however this is looking more and more like it is the case. The bottom line is we are run like a non league club with dreadful communication and engagement and c...

Re: Incoming
JP tweeting "Now a strong chance of Cheltenham Town winger Ethon Archer being sold to a League One club before Monday's transfer deadline". If we get a decent fee that allows MF's 2 further signings then won't be too upset. Ethan has stagnated at best since the turn of the year so maybe be...

Re: Salford City v Cheltenham Town
Didn't see the first half due to the wonders of Sky technology but second half whilst they had a lot of shots most were from range, they never really cut us open. Thought the back three did well and that includes Scot Bennett who if name checked by the manager tonight will deserve it!

Re: Michael Flynn after Cardiff defeat
It's been clear he's not GJ's biggest fan since his interview after the Worcester game. He's made it clear he didn't want to lost Tom Bradbury and we have enough circumstantial evidence to confirm that it was GJ who saw to it Bradbury didn't sign a new deal. He's adamant Miller was never for sale, ...

I don't recall him being able to use his throw on Saturday. Having seen it in the friendlies though, it is a monster.
