Re: 2025/26 fixtures

Just been looking through the fixtures as I thought it's weird we don't have a midweek game for 4 weeks in September, and I've noticed that we only have 5 midweek League games all season, not including games on random days due to the Christmas schedule, Easter or the Notts County at home game that'...

Re: Major ownership development

Very promising. His net worth appears to be around £60m, from what I could see, so don't expect him to be funding a new main stand out of his own pockets. That figure seems old, the latest I can find is £93million net worth from earlier this year. Well off but not excessively rich to the extent he ...

Re: Free programmes

Maybe something the Trust could take on as a fundraiser. its a good earner - ive suggested it at a few of my local non-league teams and it makes a few q...

Re: CTFC Up for sale

Spot on. In my mind, if the fact we did not own our own ground put an investor off. I would question why they wanted to invest? Sure it's a nice to have but who is to say in the future the council may be happy to sell. Given the length of the lease and their need for money I feel it's an old school...

Re: Fixture changes

Tranmere traditionally played at home on Friday nights and they may want a return to that, but that doesn’t explain why our home match is moved. Ref Gillingham, there was a move years ago not to play on the Saturday of Xmas week because hordes would rather go shopping that day. sometimes club chang...

Observations from me from last night, all to be taken into context of being the first preseason game and level of opposition:- 1) Bennett and Young in particular look like real vocal leaders on the pitch, always talking and organising. Evans pretty vocal too. 2) New wingbacks looked good going forw...
